As we look ahead to spring break 2022, it’s the perfect time to start researching the top spring break destinations whether it’s a girls’ trip, couples trip or you just need a quick getaway to recharge.

Spring break is a much-needed vacation following the holidays and the frigid months of December, January, and February. The wintery weather is finally breaking making March and April the best times to take a short vacation.
When it comes to spring break destinations, these transitional months bring about relatively mild weather and smaller crowds.
I’ve rounded up 9 must-visit spring break destinations for 2022.
Luckily it’s never too early to think about what your next spring break vacation might look like especially since hotels fill up quickly.

Updated Pre-departure Testing Requirements for Air Travelers to the U.S.
Starting on December 6, air travelers aged two and older, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, are required to show documentation of a negative viral test result taken within one day of the flight’s departure to the United States before boarding.
You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight. That includes all travelers – U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (LPRs), and foreign nationals.
If you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., your positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country, and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel).
Exemptions will be considered on an extremely limited basis.
Please visit the CDC for more information about exemptions and the requirement for proof of negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19, including types of accepted tests for all air passengers arriving in the United States.

2. Tempe, Arizona
March marks the return of spring break season, but it also means we made it another year through this pandemic, and if you are itching to travel you are probably looking for somewhere with open spaces and lots of outdoor activities.
Due to Covid-19 spring break options are not as endless as they were once where so you have to look for destinations that will not be overcrowded but yet tons of things to do no matter who you are traveling with for spring break 2022.
There are lots of fun destinations to explore on a day trip from Tempe. So, after a couple of days of relaxing, shopping, eating and outdoor fun in Tempe, stay an extra night to check out a great part of Arizona that you can see in just one day.
Tempe, Arizona is an iconic hot spot. The weather averages 80 degrees Fahrenheit during spring break, and it consistently ranks at or near the top of US cities in terms of quality of life.
Tempe provides everything travelers look for in a spring break vacation: world-class dining, entertainment, arts, and culture.
There are just as many things to do in Tempe as there are in downtown Phoenix (home to 20 museums), including paddle boarding on Tempe Town Lake or going rock climbing at Horseshoe Bend.
You can also rent a car and explore the following day trips from Tempe:
Day Trips from Tempe: Cave Creek – Discover scenic Cave Creek, a place that is within 45 minutes to an hour north of Tempe. It’s known for beautiful Sonoran Desert hiking trails, wide-open spaces, and spots that are reminiscent of the Wild West.
Day Trips from Tempe: Salt River Rafting – From February through May, Salt River Rafting can take you on a relaxing and exhilarating trip down the scenic Salt River. Just make sure to stop in Globe, Arizona before or after rafting for seriously good Mexican food.

To top things off, Austin is also home to SXSW — an internationally known film festival that has served as inspiration for many writers over the years.

Conclusion of Best Places for Spring Break 2022
This year, Easter 2022 lands on April 17, with most US colleges and high schools planning their spring break dates ranging from late February through early and mid-March.
If last year was any indication, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Belize, continue to top the list of favorites.
However, even more popular spring break locations have lured visitors further south as, Cancun, Isla Mujeres, and Cabo San Lucas continue to be the overall top getaways for spring breakers.
