The U.S. Navy ushered in the first woman to join the crew of the Navy’s Special Operations Combat Ship (SWCC), which gave them a big step forward.

The training lasted 37 weeks and included an initial boot camp, a two-month preparatory course, a three-week induction training, and a seven-week training in water and sailing skills.The last step occurred within the past three days and is called “Journey,” Conduct physical and mental tests on trainees and check their endurance and strength. Only 35% of SWCC candidates can graduate.
They must also meet a series of qualifications to be considered for training, including specific vision requirements, age 30 or younger, American citizens, eligible for safety clearance, and minimum scores for the armed forces occupational competency battery.
