NCES data covering the period from 2019 to 2020 shows that the average annual salary of school teachers in the United States is calculated at $63,645, while Mississippi ($45,192) has the lowest income.
Weekly newspaper The last American states pay the highest average annual salary for public elementary and middle school teachers.
