The next Nintendo console will be released in 20XX


In their Second quarter financial report For investors, Nintendo comfirmed There are plans to launch a successor to Nintendo Switch, but it will be launched on an unspecified date in “20XX”.

“Nintendo plans to continue to expand its business around the core concept of creating unique integrated software and hardware products,” they said, but did not provide any further information about the hardware details. In the demo, Nintendo did not include any images, but just a question mark.

The report shown in the presentation indicated that Nintendo plans to increase its game development capabilities by up to $900 million. They will also invest US$2.7 billion to develop relationships with customers, emphasizing their interest in shopping and theme parks.

Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch OLED model on October 8, which is an upgraded version of the original game console released in 2017. “It has a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen, an adjustable wide stand, a docking station with a wired LAN port, 64 GB of internal storage space and enhanced audio.”
