The sheriff’s deputy was shot dead in a tense five-hour standoff

During the five-hour standoff, a California sheriff’s deputy was shot and another police officer was injured.

Vasco Mayor Alex Garcia confirmed on Sunday that a deputy of the Kern County Sheriff was killed after hearing reports of the shooting.

His statement read: “This afternoon, I received the news that every mayor prayed that he would never get it. When Vasco reported to the confrontation, one of our brave representatives of the Kern County Sheriff was killed in the operation, and another One person was shot and injured.

“Although this is still an ongoing situation, I want to share my heart with the families of the two representatives at this time. There is nothing that can prepare us for such a tragedy.”

It continued: “In an instant, our lives can be changed forever. I pray that God will surround these families with his love and give them the strength to survive this devastating time.

“I would also like to take the time to thank all the brothers and sisters in our law enforcement and first responders community who bravely risked their lives to protect our residents. I am grateful for the work you have done. May God bless you.”

according to Fresno BeeAt 1 p.m. on Sunday, two police officers rushed to a house in the 100th block of First Street after hearing a report of the shooting. The report also said that someone had fallen on the property.

When the police arrived, they were shot and killed by people in the house, but they managed to avoid being hit and managed to escape.

When the SWAT team arrived at about 2:50 pm, they tried to enter the home, which prompted the people inside to start shooting again.
