The confrontation between a group of girls in Shake Shack in Detroit became ugly and escalated into a full-scale fight outside.

This video shot by Taylor and shared with Fox 2 shows a group of girls fighting on the street before walking onto the sidewalk and finally rushing into the parking lot, beating and fighting.

Before bystanders stepped in to stop the quarrel, another girl stepped forward and attacked the female on the ground.

Taylor continued to tell Fox 2: “A girl flew over the chain with a juice bottle and hit the girl in the head with it.”

He added that the fighting stopped after a few minutes and there was no intervention, “because this is Detroit.”

Taylor continued: “I didn’t try to break anything, because this is Detroit, anything can happen.”

In a statement sent to Fox 2, Shake Shack stated that he was “discomforted by what happened and is investigating.”

It added that it may be subject to disciplinary action, and added that “the safety of customers and employees comes first.”

Weekly newspaper Shake Shack and the Detroit Police Department have been contacted for comment.
