The birthday of 7-11 is approaching, which means that customers can expect preferential prices. This year, the chain announced that it will celebrate longer than usual.
Throughout July, customers can use their 7Rewards loyalty membership to get a Slurpee for free. Most importantly, those who have already redeemed free Slurpees can choose to buy another one at the price of $1 each until the last day of the month.
For those who are not yet members, registration is very simple, because they only need to download the mobile app and create a profile, according to Delicatessen.
All grilled food, such as hot dogs, egg rolls and tacos, will be sold for $1 throughout the month. However, for birthday cake donuts, their 50-cent promotion is only available on the actual birthday day of 7-11, which is Sunday.
Last year, 7-11 was cancelled National Free Drink Day To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. Marissa Jarratt, the chief marketing officer of 7-11, said that at the height of the global pandemic, the company feels uncomfortable for people to gather on a certain day.

7-11 is not just giving away Slurpees for free on the store’s birthday, but decided to distribute free gifts throughout July to avoid large gatherings.
This year, the company continued its one-month celebration to commemorate its 94th anniversary, KTVU Report. Customers can choose Slurpee in a variety of flavors, such as pineapple whip, blueberry lemonade, vitamin water and zero candy flavor (watermelon peach).
