Turkish Aerospace and the Malaysian Institute of Aeronautics and Technology (UniKL MIAT) of the University of Kuala Lumpur have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to cooperate in the provision of aviation education, technical training and applied research projects in Malaysia.
The agreement was signed on the campus of the University of Subang, Malaysia, and provides a framework for cooperation. Two organizations will focus on the development of human capital, faculty, and academic programs, focusing on initiatives to develop a future talent pool for the Malaysian aerospace industry, while responding to research. The challenge revolves around the future of the aerospace industry and air power.
The cooperation will focus on projects in the fields of aerospace design and engineering, manufacturing, system integration and maintenance, maintenance and overhaul (MRO) of light aircraft and drones, which are in line with the RMK-12 Malaysian aerospace industry development direction framework and Malaysia The Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030.
