TonWomen believed to have dual citizenship of the United States and Haiti were detained for the assassination of Haitian President Giovinel Moise, Associated Press Report.
The Haitian police detained 17 suspects. Fifteen of them are Colombians and six of them are former Colombian soldiers.
Police Chief Leon Charles said that the Haitian police are pursuing eight other suspects and three others have been killed.

“We will bring them to justice,” Charles said at a press conference.
The U.S. State Department knew that two Haitian Americans were detained. The two men were identified as James Solach and Joseph Vincent. Solages, 35, is the youngest of the suspects.
“As for whether the suspect was involved in the assassination of the President of Haiti, this requires investigation by the Haitian police,” said Joanne O, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Colombian government was asked about six suspects in Haiti, including two who were killed by Haitian police. Determine that they are retired members of its army. Their identities have not been made public.
In Port-au-Prince, witnesses said a group of people found two suspects in the bushes. Someone grabbed their shirts and pants, pushed them, and occasionally slapped them.
