Craft boxes are a great way to keep kids busy and engaged in creative activities. Anything you can find, like glue, glitter, and paint, should be used to fill it. You can also add paper plates, sanitary rolls, playdough, and more.

You can give your kids free rein to create anything they want with the items in the craft box and let their imagination run wild. This is sure to be an ongoing activity, as the items in the crafting box can easily be used multiple times.

4. Garden Exploration

If you have a garden, why not explore it together? Go on an adventure and discover what’s in your garden. It’s like a treasure hunt – looking for bugs, flowers, whatever. You can even find insects to learn about together.

If you don’t have a garden, you can get creative indoors. Buy some plants or potting soil, grow plants from seeds, and explore the wonderful world of gardening with your kids.

5. Form a band

Make sure your kids can rock and form their band. They may immediately improvise using basic instruments such as drums, maracas, tambourines, and other percussion instruments.

Even if you don’t have any musical instruments around the house, you can make your own using supplies that are available. For example, make drums out of two empty plastic containers and fill them with rice, lentils, beans, and some spoons. This will allow your child to unleash their inner musician.

6. Have a movie night

Letting your kids pick a movie, make a snack, and watch it in the living room or bedroom can make movie night even more special. Popcorn, pretzels, candies, and other sweets can be used to create homemade movie snacks.

With so many kids’ movies available these days, it shouldn’t be difficult to find a kids’ movie that everyone likes. With some imagination, you can create a home theater environment for the kids to watch movies complete with pillows, blankets and sheets.

7. Create a school of fish with rocks and paint

Kids love animals, so why not let them make a school of fish out of rocks and paint? All you need are some rocks, paint, glue, and gooey eyes. First, your child should pick their favorite color stone.
