On Tuesday night, the best baseball players in the world will compete in the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Both the American League and National League teams are considered not to have much advantage, although when the game begins, everyone’s eyes will be on the top stars of the American League.
Shohei Ohtani will make history at the Coors Field in Denver. The two-way star was appointed as the starting pitcher and starting batter of the American United team.
Ohtani participated in Monday’s home run derby. The Los Angeles Angels star led the majors with 33 home runs. Ohtani was also selected as the pitcher. Ohtani posted a 3.49 ERA in 67 innings before the break, with 87 strikeouts.
The top of the AL’s starting lineup is full of power. Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Vladimir Guerrero Jr.) tied for second with 28 home runs and ranked first with an average batting percentage of 0.332. Xander Bogaerts hit third with his .321/.385/.545 split. New York Yankees heavy hitter Aaron Judge is clearing the scene.
The Boston Red Sox will start the game on the left side of the infield, with third base Raphael Devers hitting fifth. The Blue Jays lead with three starters, second baseman Marcus Semien hit sixth and left fielder Teoscar Hernández hit eighth.

Washington Nationals starter Max Scherzer will become the first NL pitcher to face this proud lineup. The three-time Cy Young champion started the 2021 season with a 2.66 SR and 134 strikeouts.
The starter of the New York Mets Jacob DeGrom has been the best pitcher in Major League Baseball this season, but he is skipping the All-Star Game.
Fernando Tatis Jr. leads NL. The San Diego Padres shortstop ranks first among all NL players, with 28 home runs and 1.020 OPS.
Max Muncy ranks fifth in the MLB with an OPS of 0.972 and is located on two holes. Muncy is followed by the St. Louis Cardinals star third baseman Nolan Arenado and defending NL MVP Freddie Freeman.
The Cincinnati Redskins outfielders Nick Castellanos and Jesse Wink ranked fifth and sixth respectively. Brian Reynolds and Adam Fraser of the Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star team ranked bottom in the NL lineup.

The American United won six straight in the Midsummer Classic. In the past 23 All-Star games, the Dutch team only won 3 games.
