Netflix’s “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic has been sentenced to 22 years in prison again.
Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, Sentenced It involves the “hire murder” conspiracy by tiger activist Carole Baskin, as well as falsifying wildlife records and violating the Endangered Species Act because of his role in trafficking and killing tigers. However, his lawyer succeeded in requesting that his sentence be reconsidered. Baskin attended his trial, which should not have happened because she was listed as a government witness.

This U.S. Court of Appeals The ruling supported the reality TV star, saying that his sentence was too long, and the court could have combined his two sentences together and reduced his sentence to 17 years.
“I am optimistic that today’s decision is just one of Joe’s more victories-and his ultimate freedom,” his lawyer Brandon Sample said in a statement on Wednesday.
“When I agreed to represent Joe, I knew it would be difficult to appeal,” Mr. Sample said, “but I also knew that the law was on Joe’s side.”
