As the tech giant embarks on its latest business ambitions, Meta, officially known as Facebook, will open retail stores, New York Times Report.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg (Mark Zuckerberg) said that his goal is to explore the Metaverse composed of virtual reality and social media, including Instagram, Facebook and virtual reality brand Oculus. “We believe that Metaverse will become the successor of the mobile Internet,” Zuckerberg said.

When Meta’s retail stores become a reality, they will be equipped with portal devices that allow users to video chat via Facebook and Oculus headsets. According to company documents, the Facebook store is the main candidate for the new name of the upcoming store. Meta has not announced the date of the store opening soon.
