On Saturday, a zoo keeper was bitten by a crocodile while feeding and was taken to the hospital for treatment. This incident may be fatal, but due to her expertise and the bravery of two zoo guests, she escaped and is expected to fully recover.
The attack occurred in Scales and Tails, Utah, a family-run reptile and bird education center. Video obtained by local Fox 13 News A group of people including children are shown watching the alligator from the “safe area” of the fence.
When trainer Lindsay Bull opened the fence door, the crocodile tried to crawl out. She raised her hand to stop it, but when she pushed the crocodile back into the water, it suddenly fell on her hand. Then the bull was forced to jump into the tank with the crocodile, the bull’s hand still in his mouth making the death roll.

When Bull struggled with the crocodile in the water, a guest named Donny Wiseman jumped into the water to help. In the video, he can be heard yelling “We are in trouble”, trying to summon other employees. Wiseman then tried to pull Bull out of the crocodile’s claws, but she told him, “Don’t pull me, don’t pull me”, so he ran into the fence and jumped onto the crocodile’s back.
“I just thought,’What should I do? What do I need to do?'” Wiseman told Gepherdt Daily. “I like him, just like all the movies and documentaries I have seen.”
Eventually, the crocodile let go of Bull’s hand, and another guest, Todd Christopher, pulled her out of the water. Bull continues to coach Wiseman, who is still on the back of the crocodile. Under her guidance, he was able to leave the fence unharmed.

“She is a true hero,” Wiseman said. “After her release, she was still there to convince me because I was nervous and I was very aware of the dangers of this situation, especially after what he had just done made me sit in the front row.”
The zoo publicly thanked them Facebook page Sunday.
“Yesterday, the kind of incident that we hope will never happen happened,” the post read. “One of our crocodile keepers was bitten by our big crocodile and things have changed badly. On Monday, the zoo also shared the latest status of the bull. The bull was taken to the hospital for treatment due to injuries.
