As summer comes to an end, fall is just around the corner and we are here to welcome it! The nights are starting to get crisper and cooler, making it ideal sweater weather, the leaves have started to turn to vibrant reds, oranges, yellows, and golds—all the fall activities we know and love are back!
The busy season of summer is behind us and fall is the perfect time to reconnect and gather with friends. We loved the opportunity to incorporate all the fall themes into girls time. If you’ve been craving some time with your girlfriends, here are some fun ideas for parties this fall.

Picnic in beautiful surroundings
Have a picnic with your girlfriends in a park, on a meadow, or on a mountaintop to create an intimate atmosphere. Bring your favorite deli items and snacks, a blanket and specialty drinks. Make it an adventure and hike to the top of a mountain, or keep it simple and head to a local park. Either way, it will provide a beautiful natural setting for you to spend quality time with friends!
Go to the movies
If you haven’t heard of Taylor Swift’s movies, Taylor Swift: Time Tour Released on October 13th. It’s expected to attract record numbers of fans, so get your tickets early and spend a night with your best girlfriends. Break out your T-Swift gear and be mesmerized from head to toe, enjoy dinner and drinks before or after the show and enjoy the show. It’s playing at our local theater in Woodstock, and there are lots of ladies outings planned to see it in large groups.
Women’s Team SUP Outing
Jesse and I recently went stand up paddle boarding at a local lake with a group of friends. It was a very fun and empowering outing. It’s great to be able to bond while doing activities on the water that require a bit of a challenge. We stopped for donuts on our trip around the lake and shared our thoughts on everything from 40th birthdays to Botox. We all left feeling refreshed.
Autumn themed dinner party
The idea of hosting a party can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to all the cooking and cleaning involved. But potlucks are a great way to delegate and spread responsibilities. Host a fall-themed potluck and ask your guests to bring fall-themed dishes to share. Create a sign-up so you don’t get a ton of “chips and dip” duplication and encourage fun seasonal items like apple crisp, pumpkin or pumpkin soup, bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts, candied pecans, and more.
Host a fall watch party

Sometimes, incorporating an activity into a party can help people feel relaxed and relaxed in the environment.
Go hiking
Whether you live in the mountains, near the beach, in the city, or in the suburbs, hiking with your besties can be rejuvenating. We did this with our friend group after bedtime. We put on our headlamps, walked in the woods along a (familiar) path, and then had a cozy hangout.
