10 Mocktail Recipes to Try This Summer
Blood Orange Margarita Mocktail
I made this recently for a party we had and it was a hit! In fact, if you have a large party, I recommend doubling it as it goes away in less than an hour. Margo is my favorite Blood oranges add such a sweet, subtle orange flavor with some grapefruit, cherry and raspberry flavors. Pairs perfectly with the tartness of the lime in the marg. Tip – If you’re a salt junkie, add a side of smoky salt for a nice complement of tartness and sweetness.
raw material:
- 1 oz. Freshly squeezed lime (about one lime)
- 2 ounces freshly squeezed blood orange juice (fresh or Natalie is our favorite)
- 1 teaspoon sweetener such as simple syrup, maple syrup, or honey (or more to taste)
- A little soda or sparkling water (you can use lime or another flavor of your choice)
- optional: rim smoked salt (salt and paprika)
instruct:
Squeeze lime around the rim of the glass and invert into the smoked salt mixture (optional). Add ice to your glass. Put the lime juice, blood orange juice, and sweetener in a blender. Shake well and pour into a chilled glass. Add a little soda and lime or blood orange circles for garnish.

I grew up Shirley Temple Every time my family goes out to eat, there is definitely one. And of course my mashed potatoes and chicken fingers.from what i heard Dirty Shirley is the drink of summer, but the classic Shirley Temple really is where it is. Use a champagne flute and garnish with fresh fruit or a sprig of herbs from the garden to make it feel extra special.

- Freshly squeezed orange juice (5-10 oranges, depending on the number of drinks)

this recipe Adapted from Simon Pearce’s restaurant in Quechee, VT is usually a bourbon but can also be drunk as a mocktail. The combination of lemon and blackberry is refreshing and tart.
