This week we’re doing an overnight hike on our local mountain – Mt Tom to celebrate Jesse’s birthday and a couple of other December birthdays. Hiking under a full moon and starry sky would be so beautiful, with headlamps, many layers and an amazing group of strong women. A walk or night hike during the holiday season is a great way to see the decorations, twinkling lights and festive cheer. One of the best things about Mount Tom is that the stars on top of the mountain light up this time of year. It will be very interesting to see it glow from the top and look down on the beautiful little village of Woodstock shimmering below.
