This pet python owned by Shannon Surch broke in its water tank last week and disappeared after escaping from her home in Measham. East Midlands.
The snake named Bo is believed to be at large in the Colville area.
Someone found a large snake skin that had fallen off while walking in Swannington.
The Swannington Walkers said in a post on the Facebook group Spotted Whitwick on Monday: “Misham has lost a 6-foot-long python. I found this in Swannington tonight, just want people to know! !”
However, Ms. Surch said that Bo’s shedding was smaller and indicated that the skin must be from a different second snake.
As the post triggered a series of comments from residents, local concerns have increased.
Many people asked how this snake managed to escape.
In the comment, one person wrote: “Oh, that reassures me… No.”
Another added: “How did such a thing escape?
“I mean, what have they been doing, taking it out for a walk, he didn’t come back after being let go of the lead?”
Others added: “I will never leave home again.”
“I think I was suddenly isolated for a while.”
Pythons are non-venomous and insist on feeding on small animals.
As we all know, they bite their prey with their teeth, and then wrap their bodies to prevent blood flow.
As we all know, larger pythons can catch animals as big as ocelots.
