The couple welcomed their first child Wilfred in April last year.
Now, 33-year-old Carrie told her friends that she felt “very lucky” to be pregnant again in an Instagram post on the weekend.
The prime minister’s wife also admitted her heartache after a miscarriage at the beginning of the year.
She wrote on Instagram: “At the beginning of the year, I had a miscarriage, which made me heartbroken. I feel very lucky to be pregnant again, but I also feel like a bag of nerves.

“The issue of fertility is really difficult for many people, especially on platforms like Instagram. It looks like everything will only go well.
“I find it really comfortable to hear the voices of people who have also experienced loss, so I hope that sharing this in some very small way can also help others.”

At the time, she wrote in an Instagram post announcing Wilfred’s birth: “Introducing Wilfred Laurie Nicholas Johnson was born at 9 a.m. on April 29, 20.
“Wilfred is after Boris’ grandfather, Laurie is after my grandfather, Nicholas is after Dr. Nick Price and Dr. Nick Hart-these two doctors saved Boris’ life last month.

Public relations expert Carrie was once famous for her maiden name Symonds, and when she had a romantic connection with Mr. Johnson in early 2019, she made headlines for the first time.
But her connection with Mr. Johnson can be traced back to 2012 when she successfully ran for re-election at City Hall.
This newcomer will be at least Mr. Johnson’s seventh child. He has four children with his second wife, Marina Wheeler, who divorced last year after separating in September 2018.
