It seems that the Democratic Party’s year-long campaign to get the public against the police is as successful as Charlie Brown’s playing Lucy’s football. Despite the rising slogans of “divestment of the police” and their cynical attitude towards the murder of George Floyd, Americans still view the police in a positive light.
The Hill-HarrisX poll released on Thursday showed that the vast majority of Americans are in favor of law enforcement. Hill Report:
In the July 28-29 survey, 83% of registered voters said they had a good impression of the police, while 17% said they did not like the police.
Even more detrimental to the Democratic Party’s position on law enforcement are the opinions of black Americans, who are usually used by the left as a political stick against the police. According to the survey, “71% of black voters and 71% of Hispanic voters have the same opinion.”
This poll shows what most of us already know: Americans understand that most police officers are not corrupt. Abuses of power constitute a small proportion of law enforcement personnel.

Most importantly, most Americans do not judge all police officers based on the behavior of a few people. They believe that the bad apple does not represent the entire law enforcement agency. However, they still realize that abuse of power by officials is still a serious problem that must be corrected.
This is very different from the anti-police propaganda that has been spewing from the extreme left since George Floyd’s death 5 seconds. The far-left socialist wing of the Democratic Party is still going all out, portraying law enforcement as thugs wearing racist jackets. They wake up every morning thinking about how to make black lives more difficult.
