ky Gazer will have a light show next week because Earth Through the debris left by the comet.
It is predicted that the peak period of the Perseid meteor shower will be from the evening of August 12 to the early morning of August 13, when the sky is the darkest.
It is best to watch the meteor from the northern hemisphere.Under ideal conditions without clouds, observers can see up to 50 per hour, according to Royal Astronomical Society
The meteor shower is often called the best of the year because of how bright and active it is.
In a shower, the earth passed through the debris cloud left by the comet and saw more meteors enter the atmosphere.
The Perseid meteor shower is related to comet 109/P Swift-Tuttle, which last passed the earth in 1992.
When comets approach the sun, they heat up and decompose. If this happens on the path of the earth orbiting the sun, they can fly into our atmosphere at high speed.
The overheated air around the meteor glows and leaves traces of light and explosions in the form of fireballs.
The best way to get a glimpse of the dazzling performance is to stay away from the lights of towns, cities, buildings, and trees, and where the horizon is clear.
At its peak this year, the moon will be in a thin moon phase, creating perfect viewing conditions without being disturbed by moonlight.
The Deputy Executive Director of the Royal Astronomical Society, Dr. Robert Messi, said: “Moonlight does not interfere with the meteor shower, so you have a much greater chance of seeing more meteors.
“If there is a full moon in the sky, you might as well be in the city, because it will illuminate the entire sky, but this year’s moon will really help us see more Perseid meteors.”
Observers are advised to plan and check the weather forecast in advance to prevent unpleasant weather so that they can go to a new location or go out another day.
In July and August each year, as the activity decreases, the sparkling hospitality will last for a few days in the northern hemisphere, and the activity decreases.
