Lionel Messi agrees to the two-year Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) agreement as fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of Paris

A report from France on Tuesday morning stated that Messi has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain and will fly to Paris this afternoon to complete the transfer.

The news of Messi’s departure from Barcelona was confirmed last week because they were unable to register the 34-year-old player because of La Liga’s strict salary regulations.

Paris Saint-Germain moved quickly to sign Messi and negotiated a contract that is believed to last two years, and can choose the third year, which is said to have been completed this morning.

According to The Athletic, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner has a net income of at least 25 million euros (£21 million) per season and a signing fee of 25 million euros.

On Monday, with the news of Messi’s arrival, fans flocked to Bourges Airport and Parc des Princes.

However, after the striker did not arrive, they were disappointed as he continued to wait for more detailed details of the contract with Paris Saint-Germain to be finalized. As the deal neared completion, supporters on Tuesday morning went to the airport and stadium again.

Messi has joined a powerful Paris Saint-Germain team, which includes forwards Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, and the bookmaker has listed them as the new favorites to win the Champions League this season.
