Nissan The engineer is heading to the company’s home country to participate in the 2020 Paralympic Games Tokyo
Anna Nicholson, who suffers from cerebral palsy, will represent the British Paralympics in the shot put competition after achieving a series of outstanding performances in qualifying.

“As I train and help me achieve a good balance between work, life and training, my team at Nissan has given me great support.
“I can’t wait to visit Japan, not only as a member of the GB Paralympics, but also as a member of the Nissan team.”
Nicholson is from Carlisle. She demonstrated her extraordinary talent for the first time in school and has participated in professional competitions since she was 15 years old.
She has a master’s degree in chemical engineering and joined Nissan’s interior and chassis division four years ago.
Nicholson is now committed to producing the new Qashqai, 100% electric Nissan Leaf and Juke.

Nicholson will travel to Japan on August 17 and her game will be held in the early morning of September 2.
