President Biden is presiding over the worst surge in illegal immigration in U.S. history-RedState

President Joe Biden is making history in more than one way. His administration was not only involved in a terrible and botched attempt to rescue American citizens, allies, and troops from Afghanistan, but it also led the absolutely worst surge in illegal immigration in the country’s history.

Princeton Policy Advisor A recently released report showed that worries in the border areas have risen sharply. The author Steven Kopits points out that in July border doubts increased sharply:

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection reported that the Border Patrol arrested 199,777 people on the southwestern border of the United States in July. This is an increase of 21,000 people from June and 23,000 people higher than our terrible forecast a month ago. In addition, the number of arrests in July was almost twice that of July, the second highest in the past 20 years, when the Clinton administration arrested 114,000 immigrants in July 2000.

Kopits continued that Princeton Policy Advisors “can now make reasonable forecasts of fiscal year and calendar year balances based on 2000 (the worst year in U.S. history).”

In the fiscal year ending September 30, Kopitz noted that it will “only become the fourth worst year in American history.” He pointed out that former President Donald Trump served four months in this fiscal year, which may explain why the numbers have not been worse.

However, the 2021 calendar year is another matter.

Kopitz wrote:

It is almost certain that the 2021 calendar year will be, to a large extent, the worst year in the history of arrests on the Southwest border of the United States. The government is currently tracking the arrests of 1.75 to 1.8 million people at the border, which is 200,000 more than the next most recent year. Unless the policy changes drastically, the calendar year’s records are in the bag.

For those who have been following, this prediction is not entirely shocking. Soon after taking office, President Biden began to abolish most of the policies and plans formulated by the Trump administration. In order to show an anti-Trump image, Biden overturned procedures to curb the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States.

In fact, it was Biden’s words and actions when he became president that led to the influx of immigrants to the border. Democrats have repeatedly denied that the president’s actions attracted immigrants to the dangerous journey to the southern border. But all that is needed are shots and photos of immigrants marching to the border wearing T-shirts with “Biden let us in” printed on them, to debunk this particular statement.

To make matters worse, this situation makes life difficult for agents working with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Border Patrol. Both agencies are stretched, which provides more opportunities for illegal immigrants to cross the southern border. Although the government has been downplaying the severity of this problem, there are signs that they are fully aware of the severity of the situation.

Leaked footage The Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Majorcas, admitted, “If our border is the first line of defense, we will fail. This is unsustainable.”

The government has started to take Some steps Reduce the flow of individuals trying to enter the country illegally. A few weeks ago, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki explained that the United States is now sending people who are trying to cross the border illegally into the interior of Mexico—further away from the border. This is to stop these people from repeatedly trying to violate US immigration laws. However, at this moment, it seems to be too late.

As the border crisis worsens, it is almost impossible for the Biden administration to remain in power lie about it. At some point, this problem will surface and some measures need to be taken. Unfortunately, the president seems incapable of this task, so the country may not see any real action until 2024.
