This is an ongoing question: What is the purpose of the university?
Some people will say that this is to prepare young people for their careers.
Others may point to knowledge acquisition or improvement in skills.
But there is another function, which seems to be becoming more and more popular: to generate a specific worldview.
Gate 3 of Rhode Island College provides teenagers with an opportunity for analytical analysis to crush men.
Introducing Fall 2021 Fiscal year 100-14.
Face-to-face classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday.
Its title: Rhetoric of poisonous masculinity.
“Toxic masculinity is defined as a series of behaviors exhibited by men, but in fact it is a result,” the description points out.
It turns out that people have been socialized into…naive:
[I]This is the self that boys and men appear after years of being taught that they must suppress emotions such as fear or sadness, and must always maintain a persevering and strong appearance…
Obviously, men are also taught This:
…Violence means power.
Where can I find an example?
It is worth noting that who is stoic, violent and suppressed?
Trigger warning:
Just look at former President Donald Trump to find a vivid example of this concept, as it was in the early 21st century.
Never underestimate whiteness:

Sexton used his own childhood in rural Indiana to challenge society’s perceptions of masculinity, believing that narrowly defined gender roles would harm both men and women.
This book began in a 2016 New York Times column article, “Donald Trump’s poisonous masculinity. “

- Check gender information about masculinity (in critical analysis)
Going back to the beginning of this article, recent headlines have highlighted the evolution of education:
University of California Knicks admissions test scores, prefer “strong message about fairness”
New York Law School announces new racial focus and required courses on systemic racism
Ivy League schools offer climbing courses for everyone except white students
Princeton introduces a new focus on “race and identity”
Boston University offers “21 Days Forgetting Racism” and “Learning Against Racism”
In June, real-time Bill Maher describe The university therefore:
“[C]Olleges has become a huge luxury daycare center with high-paying nanny, eager to satisfy every student’s whim. …One-third of students now study less than five hours a week. When they did it, it was for their heavy blackjack–[baloney] Sports marketing, history on Twitter, high-level racism discoveries, introductions to micro-aggressions, and you owe me an apology 101 for the course load. …The answer is not to make universities free. The answer is to make it even more unnecessary-this is true for most jobs. “
In other words, he was not impressed.
Moreover, it is speculated that those who participated in FYS 100-14 would not be impressed by masculinity.
Masculinity may have built some bridges and some empires in the process, but we live in a softer and gentler era.
“In this class”, describe Read, “We will study the rhetoric of toxic masculinity through film, literature, and cultural history, because we strive to imagine, formulate and expect a better and more rational version of boys and men’s masculinity.”
Professor Michael told Make fixed He looks forward to bringing “non-white, non-working class, non-heterosexual, non-male perspectives into the classroom.”
That should be easy.
