The coroner expressed grief over the deaths of five innocent strangers in their hands Plymouth The gunman Jack Davidson officially began their investigation.

When the investigation began on Thursday morning, Ian Arrow, a senior coroner in Torbay, Plymouth and South Devon, said he felt “very regrettable” for the deaths of the five victims.
Detective Inspector Steve Humbley, who is in charge of the Devon and Cornwall police investigations, said at the hearing that Mrs. Davidson “suffered a fatal gunshot wound after arguing with her son” and after injuries to her head and torso die.

“The police are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.”
He said that Mr. Martin the carpenter was shot in the head and torso, while three-year-old Sophie was injured in the head, and both died on the spot.
The coroner said: “I want to express my sorrow after hearing Sophie’s death” and expressed similar emotions to all the victims.
Mr. Washington, his wife’s full-time caregiver, was shot in the chest while walking the dog while the artist Ms. Shepard was injured in the abdomen. After receiving emergency medical assistance at the scene, she was rushed to the hospital but failed to save her life.
The coroner adjourned the case until December 9 for review in order to conduct a full investigation of the death.
