The situation at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Afghanistan is at a moment of crisis. It seems that no one in the government knows how many Americans still need to evacuate. The number 5,000-10,000 has been widely circulated; a person claiming to know the knowledge claimed that the number was 40,000 (see The number of Americans trapped in Afghanistan may be worse than the Biden team told us). Yesterday, I saw a report saying that the rise in US passport holders was 15,000. The number of Afghan special immigrant visa holders is about 22,000, but who knows?
There are several gates to enter the airport, and the conditions at these gates are dangerous for evacuees and security forces.
The situation in Afghanistan does not seem to be getting better, because large numbers of people are still trying to break through the roadblocks at Kabul Airport. pic.twitter.com/5xv60WS7TP

This is what it looks like outside the north gate of Kabul Airport. I will not mention why this location is important.I would say @CENTCOM The commander who agreed to allow the airport to be the main/only evacuation point should be fired/replaced immediately. pic.twitter.com/yfvWRJaJ7n

The route to the airport is controlled by the Taliban. According to reports, the Taliban rejected SIV holders and sometimes beat American passport holders.

The situation is so out of control that the senior officials appointed by Biden directly contradict the speeches Biden made at the same time. This from New York Post:
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told members of Congress on a conference call on Friday that Americans trying to evacuate Afghanistan were beaten by the Taliban. This is a direct contradiction. President Biden’s assertion Two lawmakers told the Washington Post that American citizens were not prevented from entering the airport.
When lawmakers sought answers about how the Biden administration tried to get American citizens and allies out of the country, Austin was clearly more concerned than the commander-in-chief, calling the Taliban’s abuse of Americans “unacceptable.”
“Within 30 minutes of Biden’s public statement, the Secretary of Defense directly refuted him,” a senior Republican congressman told the Washington Post.
Once you enter the airport, the situation is terrible. This is from an Afghan national who tried to get away and sent it to an online acquaintance. I am editing it extensively, but it tells what is happening in a way that the media does not have:
[They] Received an email from the US State Department and went to Sullivan Camp for processing to enter Kabul Airport. He obtained a pass in an email. We contacted multiple charities and State Department staff, and were told by at least one Senate staff office that it was legal, and he was happy to leave. He arrived at Camp Sullivan yesterday morning and found that it was closed. I think camp is people sleeping/resting/standing/
They live in a group of immobile thugs all day, hoping to enter the airport through the gate. …
As he approached the Taliban checkpoint, the Taliban began beating those who were waiting in line. Well-the mob standing in the crowd is not a line you imagined. He and his wife were beaten. However, because the crowd is too crowded, there is nowhere to escape. They just stood there to be beaten-I think it was beaten with some kind of stick. Later, when they approached Nirvana at the gate of the monastery, the mob began to escape for some reason. Nowhere to go. His five-year-old was almost trampled. They pushed closer. Why did the mob run? Because, if you arrive at the door without a visa, American soldiers will not let you in, and then you have to go through the Taliban checkpoint… and then be beaten.
…
24 hours. no water. There is no food. Stool and urinate where you are. It’s too crowded to do anything but stand. Sultry. Your wife hides your phone in her clothes so that the Taliban will not steal your phone or see you working in the United States, and they will not search for women. However, they will defeat her.
As far as the U.S. Embassy is concerned, it tells Americans to “shelter in place,” even though it knows that no one will ever come to them. At the same time, the British and even the French are patrolling Kabul, looking for and escorting their passport holders and Afghans working for them to the airport. It’s not like this. In fact, the rumor that I reported earlier this week that the cooperation between the U.S. and the U.K. military was seriously broken, although it has not yet appeared in the media, it has been widely circulated in the special forces community (The British evacuation commander says he has withdrawn from discussions between the U.S. and the Taliban plus the best rumors of the day). I have also received rumors from troops in Afghanistan that American soldiers have begun to sneak out of the airport’s perimeter and perform unauthorized missions to rescue people trapped in Kabul. If so, it marks a complete breakdown of the unit discipline there.
To make matters worse, commanding an evacuation does not seem to have a sense of purpose. Earlier this week, Biden claimed that we will soon evacuate 5,000 people a day.Give you a taste, this is from Ron Klain’s attempt to dunk on CNN during the evacuation failed Nick Alama:
As far as the entire situation in Afghanistan is concerned, the Biden administration has always been a mess.
Perhaps one of the most infuriating things is not just how they failed so hard, but how they lied and pretended that everything went according to their carefully crafted plan.
Now listen to President Ron Klein fighting with CNN and trying to dunk their reporter Clarissa Ward.
We evacuated 5,700 people in the past 24 hours. The best military operations in the world are responsible. https://t.co/pTfaalv6YG
-Ronald Klein (@WHCOS) August 20, 2021
Ward said yes Not a plane taking off from the airport, From the American side, eight hours.
Klein claimed: “We have evacuated 5,700 people in the past 24 hours. The best military operations in the world are responsible.”
Of course, the problem is that he tried to dunk the reporter who was actually on the ground at the airport, and could see the truth about the actual flight that took off. It was not the Biden team who told us that the evacuation flight was suspended. It is CNN. Only after CNN told us did the Biden team admit that it happened.
Of these 5700 people, how many are Americans?
“These flights carried nearly 6,000 passengers, including hundreds of U.S. citizens.”
What the hell? Only 200? This is 3% of passengers. Not fully prioritizing our citizens…pic.twitter.com/gdPOziLZXf
-Steve Cortes (@CortesSteve) August 21, 2021
The total number of people evacuated yesterday was About half The fat guy Ronnie bragged about.
The facilities in Qatar are almost fully loaded, so flights there carry fewer passengers. The footprint of the US military at the Hong Kong International Airport is 5,800 and 3,800 Americans who have evacuated in the past 24 hours. (As of August 21, 1100 Eastern Standard Time). The Pentagon said that C-17 flights may soon increase from an average of 12 flights a day to 30 flights a day.
If you want to put it in perspective “soon”, we have 9 days to find and evacuate approximately 40,000 people before the Taliban completely closes Kabul Airport.
Now we want to add:
According to officials from the State Department, 300 people requested to leave the airport and return to Kabul due to “unsatisfactory conditions” at the airport.

People are gradually realizing that even for extremely obsessed and stupid people like Joe Biden and Jack Sullivan, our chances of evacuating U.S. passport holders before the August 31 deadline, mathematically speaking, are about √-1. Biden claimed that he would keep American troops in Kabul until all Americans were evacuated. This is easy to do.In fact, if the Taliban attacked the Kabul airport, the US military there would face serious danger of being cut off and defeated in detail, essentially repeating itself. Battle of Gandamak(Coming in is always better than going out. Everyone thinks that a U.S. military capable of self-defense, control of the airport, and withdrawal of refugees can be supplied by air in such an environment. Shoulder-mounted The ubiquity is still a mystery to me. )
Since the winter during the Korean War of 1950-51, we have been on the brink of disaster in Afghanistan, which is different from what American weapons experienced. At least, we are facing a hostage crisis, which will make the Iranian hostage crisis seem insignificant (When we face the second Iranian hostage crisis, as many as 10,000 Americans are still trapped in Afghanistan). There is no obvious direction. There is no visible plan. There is no sense of urgency. August 31 is imminent, and if anyone cares, they will definitely hide it well.
