Review- Can this “vacuum cleaner” replace your bag or bagless upright vacuum cleaner? Can Moosoo K17 suck diamonds directly from your brooch? For the sake of science, I used this rechargeable device for a month, and then put my Dustbuster handheld device and Eureka aside. I didn’t get rid of anything after the test, but K17 won the footprint of Strickland Acre.

Design and features
The rechargeable Moosoo K17 cordless vacuum cleaner comes with many accessories. I used them, but developed 3 favorites. They are mini electric heads, LED electric brushes and slit nozzles. All heads can be connected to the handle/motor unit or fixed to a retractable tube or flexible hose. The device feels very light in all configurations and it is not more tiring to use than our other vacuum cleaners.

Except for a suction head, the vacuum cleaner is made of durable plastic and aluminum. The mini electric head will be introduced in detail later.

set up
Insert the battery into the main vacuum handle/motor unit, insert the charger base, put the main vacuum handle/motor unit into the charger base, and wait for the top LED to turn green. Plan 3-4 hours of charging time.

Test and observe
In the past 4 weeks, I mainly replaced our Dustbuster rechargeable batteries with Moosoo K17. I mainly appreciate the quietness of K17. Our dust collector is deafening. If I had to use earplugs for more than 30 seconds, I would really use earplugs.

Below are the Sound Meter app readings of Moosoo K17 in normal and high power modes. I took a reading of about one foot while the handle/motor unit was running. These readings are similar to the sound levels of a room where people talk quietly.
My Dustbuster clock is 76 dB. It’s like a busy street intersection.
In contrast, when I typed, the average reading in this room was 28 dB, and the only sounds were the ticking of the clock and the noise of the refrigerator motor in the distance.
I don’t want to let the vacuum run to check the total time it runs before it needs to be charged. But I charge it every 5-6 days and use K17 as needed every day. If I do longer work, such as vacuuming a car and/or a large area of carpet, I want to be able to charge faster. When vacuuming oriental carpets, I really only used higher power settings. Low power works well on hard floors and is quieter.

Here, I hired child labor to assist with my testing. I took on the heavy part, and AW did the dirty work.
I will only use flexible hoses for car cleaning, but it seems essential in this application. It is easier to operate the crevice tool at the end of the hose on the car floor and seat than using the same crevice tool directly connected to the main handle unit.

Ever since I played the K17 against the old Dusbuster, I have longed for a Dustbuster-style head attachment. Alas, no one was there. Therefore, among the available accessory heads, I usually keep the “mini electric head” on the device. It enables the device to remain small and hand-held, and can perform most hard floor vacuuming tasks well. But this head is designed to rest tightly on the floor or other surface. If your dirt is flat, such as dust or hair, that’s great. It’s not good if it is much larger. I had to awkwardly tilt the vacuum cleaner backwards or forwards to pick up larger items.
Kibble-sized items of pet food do not have good attachments. The slit nozzle can do it, but its suction is very small. After all, it’s for the gap. The Oval Brush’s brush seems to block the entry of larger items, so it tends to push them around, or you have to put your head on the items instead of sweeping towards and over them. If I want to, I want to be able to vacuum the small marbles, but I have to tilt a few heads to fit their design instead of letting them work for me.

I don’t have the professional knowledge to verify the claim that K17 does have HEPA filtering. It does seem to filter well, and there is no detectable dust flowing out of the device during operation. My Dustbuster and our Eureka vertical columns keep dusty due to dust. During one month of daily use, the exterior of the K17 is always kept clean.

The large LED electric brush is the most logical accessory for carpeted floors, but it also works well on hard floors. It has an electric rotating brush and should clean carpets and carpets better than suction alone. I doubt whether K17 has the ability to replace upright vacuum cleaners, but it seems to be able to remove surface dust, debris, etc. on carpeted floors. The LED is fine, but it is a bit dim. It’s great when they help reveal something, but they are certainly not lumen shock waves.
Before mopping the floor with the tablet, I vacuumed our kitchen with K17’s large electric brush head, and it did a great job. When mopping a composite floor, poor cleaning will soon show up, and there is no dust or debris rolled up around the floor or on the mop head after mopping the floor.
When I tried to move too many things from room to room with two hands, I dropped the K17 motor/handle assembly from 3 feet. No damage. The plastic used in the construction of most parts appears to be durable and not fragile. The Mini Powered Head seems to be made of cheaper plastic, and I doubt whether it can withstand multiple drops from any significant height.
Poquito (our dog) knocked the entire device to the side when his owner left the motor handle on the electric brush and the extension tube was fully extended and upright. (It was balanced, but the dog showed danger.) The disturbing sound of collision did not cause any damage.

This shows the power connection between the main handle/motor unit and the extension tube. The LED motor brush and the mini motor head have the same connector.

Something broke in and disturbed my attention!
It’s almost relaxing to watch the frass whirlpool around you.

what do I like
- K17 is very effective on hard surfaces and removing surface dirt from carpets and carpets.
- The stirring brushes of the two attachment heads are electric, instead of rotating by suction.
- Quite a good selection of accessories.
- Good battery life.
- The easy dumping action can remove dirt from the collection compartment.
- The filter is easy to clean.

Poquito found that when the electric head is closed and placed on the floor, it is a comfortable bite surface. He roared at it during use. Go to figure it out.

What will i change
- The English manual needs to be edited for spelling and grammatical correctness.
- Add a head that can easily pick up grains, dog food, BBs, etc.

Final thoughts
During my testing, the price of the device has dropped, making it good value for money. If you have a lot of carpeted areas, Moosoo K17 is more like a point vacuum cleaner than a whole house vacuum cleaner, so don’t give up your high-power bag or bagless upright vacuum cleaner. But I think we will move our other hand-held vacuum cleaner upstairs and place the Moosoo K17 in an appropriate place in the kitchen on the first floor, where it will become our main hard surface daily vacuum cleaner.
