Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday that the United States may control Covid-19 early next year and may receive broader vaccine approvals in the next few weeks. This is one day after Pfizer has received broader FDA approval for its injections.
The top US infectious disease expert said in a TV interview that the US Food and Drug Administration’s full approval of Pfizer vaccine paved the way for more people to be vaccinated, and Moderna Inc and Johnson & Johnson’s vaccines may be approved in the next few weeks, and Approval for use in young children may be this fall.
