More than 30 firefighters are dealing with a “terrible fire” at a Nick Nairn restaurant in the Bridge of Allan.
At 8:17 on Saturday night, firefighters were called to the scene of Nick’s on Henderson Street and found a “well-developed” fire in the kitchen.
Images on social media showed smoke and flames from buildings in the town near Stirling.
Nairn said in a tweet: “Just to let you know that there was a terrible fire at Knicks Bank tonight, but thankfully, none of the employees and customers were injured.
“Very respect and thanks for the incredible emergency service.”
Six fire trucks and a command and support unit were sent to the scene.
The two were treated for smoke inhalation.
“After arriving, the staff confirmed that this was a fire in the kitchen and requested further participation.”
Subsequently, more equipment and a command support unit were sent to the scene.
