As I wrote before, Bill Maher is not always there.
In fact, he is often quite conservative.
At least, that is to say, measured by the constantly drifting partisan line.

The problem is: the greatness of America.

This is not often heard on late night TV.
Bill pointed out that in the past, he “usually made fun of Republicans for being too sentimental about the United States.”
However, liberals “go too far in the other direction now”.
Actually:
“them under-Romanticize America. They have no vision. “
He gave a truly horrible example:
“Last week, the Taliban murdered a comedian. His name is Nazar Mohammad, and he wrote funny songs on TikTok. They forced him to get in the car, tortured him, and then executed him. A comedian. This kind of thing came to me. It’s kind of like home.”
A person’s perspective is everything:
“I have two presidents [behind].… [O]ne warned me not to express my thoughts. …And…someone sued me for a joke. As the president, (he) called me by every name in the book…”
A video shows that former President Trump referred to Mach as “this idiot comedian”, “crazy lunatic”, “highlight” and “downright lunatic.”
“Both experiences are not pleasant,” the host observed, “but I don’t have to worry about being dragged until I die behind Toyota Tacoma.”
He told the audience to “have a little perspective.”
Then he woke up contemplatively:
“I’m sorry for you The professor said something you don’t like. The Taliban will not have a problem because you cannot go to school. In Saudi Arabia, adult women may go to jail for doing what we consider normal without the permission of a male guardian. If you believe in the wrong religion, China will surround you and put you in a concentration camp. Burkina Faso has more children working in schools. Only 5% of Burundians have electricity. The homicide rate in Honduras is eight times higher than here. …In the past five years, the Philippines has killed 27,000 low-level drug dealers—my old job. In North Korea, people starved to death. “
In addition, he stuffed it into socialism:
“Venezuela’s inflation rate is 2,719%.”
“If you think the United States is incurable,” he suggested, “open the news…. There is a reason why Afghan mothers handed over their children to us.”
“We should accept them,” he made clear. “The Americans should now let Afghan refugees into their homes and communities.”
On the hypocrisy of liberalism:
“[I]’I believe everyone who just applauded is thinking the same thing:’Yes-people who are not mine should definitely do this. ‘”
Bill illuminates those who cannot see this country with unfiltered eyes:
“We are not bad guys. The oppression is what we tried to stop in Afghanistan. We failed. But any immigrant will tell you that we basically succeeded. here. However, the overwhelming driving force of the current awakening ideology is that the United States has decayed to the core from the moment it was founded. With the hopeless racism, such oppression, sexism and homophobia, we cannot find an Oscar. Or dangerous organizers. “
This person knows how to make a point:
“I believe you’ve heard that the new dangerous man is out because he Say’Boobies’ in 2014.This is your new [Afghan] The roommates you take in will prove to be very valuable because they will turn to you and say,’Are you people losing yours? He wrapped things in jokes, but hit the nail on the head:
“The United States may not be your faculty lounge and Twitter dream country, but no one here is trying to escape by hanging on a plane.”
The comedian continued, “We wait until we Fight in the plane. Then, just because they cut off the beverage service. “
The viewing angle certainly seems to have diminished.
All weekend, Fox News It reported the story of a teacher in California being investigated for encouraging children to swear allegiance to the pride flag.
There is no doubt that she is a supporter:
