Jung wrote that he will vote for the Liberal Conservative Reform Party (LKR) in the next federal election. He hopes that LKR “can be a reservoir for AfD, CDU and all other wise conservatives.” The party was founded in 2015 by Bernd Lucke and other former AfD members. Lucke is now just a simple member of LKR.
