Computer’s widow Andrew Harper She vowed to continue her campaign and change the law in his name on the anniversary of her pursuit of “Harper’s Law.”

Mrs. Harper said in a statement: “Day after day, the police, and many of our emergency service heroes, look at danger and move on desperately.
“They put themselves in danger in order to protect the public, so we need to give something back to show that we support them.”
Both Minister of the Interior Pritty Patel And Attorney General Robert Buckland QC supported her campaign, but the proposal has not yet been submitted to Parliament, and Mrs. Harper stated that she will continue to seek changes “until Harper law Was recorded in the annals of history”.
Mrs. Harper added that she hopes that the end of the summer recess and the party’s meeting season will promote her campaign.
She said: “In the past year, we have gained a lot of momentum in discussing with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior to make this much-needed law a reality.
“It has been a year since the beginning of such an exciting but vital undertaking, and I am relieved of the continued progress we have made.
“I hope that as the government returns from the recess and as the party’s meeting season approaches, we will be in a good position to make Harper’s law a reality as soon as possible.
“We will continue to put pressure on politicians and continue to beg the Ministry of the Interior to complete this work immediately!”
She added that she looked forward to meeting Mr. Buckland and Ms. Patel again in Westminster to map the progress of Harper’s Law.
Mrs. Harper said: “Our protectors need our protection. Know that we are grateful for everything they have done for us. When everyone else is fleeing from danger, they will not experience injustice like my husband.
“We know this will not happen overnight, but don’t get me wrong, I won’t allow this to be kicked into the grass.
“There will be no probation until Harper’s law is written down in history.”
Petitions supporting these proposals have received more than 750,000 signatures.
The 19-year-old Henry Longin was sentenced to 16 years in prison for manslaughter in the Thames Valley police traffic police after being tried in Old Bailey, and 18-year-old Jessie Cole and Albert Bowers were sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Last year, the Court of Appeal rejected a proposal made by the Attorney General to increase the sentence for the three.
