The man used the pseudonym Louis in public and accused Kelly of sexually abusing him at the age of 17 at a court hearing in New York on Monday. Louis said he met Kelly in 2006. The witness told the court that when Kelly secretly told him his phone number, he was on a night shift at a fast food restaurant in Chicago. Later when he met Kelly at home, the singer took him to his garage and sexually abused him there. “He asked me what I would do for music,” the witness said. Louis testified that Kelly asked him to call him “Dad.” Several women who accused Kelly of sexual harassment also published similar reports. Louis did not appear as one of Kelly’s alleged victims in the indictment, but he was one of the other witnesses of the prosecution.
Louis negotiated an agreement with the prosecutor after being convicted in February 2021. He had provided funds to witnesses who might accuse Kelly-hoping that he would “not cooperate with federal prosecutors.” Louis said he was worried that the witness, who did not want to be named, had a recording of his sex with Kelly.
