The White House said on Saturday that first lady Jill Biden, who has a doctorate in education, will resume teaching next week.

According to the Washington Post, after a year of distance learning due to the pandemic, she will do so herself.

“It can be confirmed that she will start teaching the new semester next week,” the first lady’s spokesperson said in an email.

According to the Washington Post, President Joe Biden’s wife will teach at Northern Virginia Community College outside Washington for 13 weeks every Tuesday and Thursday.

When Jill Biden’s husband was Barack Obama’s vice president, she started teaching there.

She is the first first lady to combine her professional duties with work outside the presidency.

The newspaper said that she will teach a composition course to guide students how to write academic papers.

Biden has always made it clear that even after reaching the White House, she will continue to teach.
