Reuters hires Douglas in charge of agriculture and energy policy

Reuters has hired Leah Douglas Covers food and energy policies.

She is currently a contributing writer and associate editor of the magazine. Food and Environmental Reporting NetworkHer reports have been published in The Guardian, The Nation, The Washington Post, Mother Jones, NPR, American Outlook, Time and other media.

Douglas has been interviewed by many podcasts and radio shows, including CBS Weekend News Roundup and Vox’s Future Perfection, and appeared in Al Jazeera’s episode of Breaking Line, which was nominated for the 2021 News Emmy Awards.

Her report was quoted by dozens of print and television media, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, NBC Evening News and John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight”.

She previously worked at New America and Open Markets Institute. Douglas graduated from Brown University.
