You can learn a lot about people from the people around you. California Governor Gavin Newsom seems to want everyone around him to want to see the murderer get away with it, especially those who kill the police.
According to reports Fox NewsMelina Abdullah, a professor at California State University in Los Angeles, spoke at an event on Monday to encourage voters to go out and leverage Newsom. It was there that she screamed, claiming that Newsom’s most threatening Republican opponent Larry Elder was “the black face of white supremacy.”
Extreme comments like this can only come from extreme people. Looking back at Abdullah’s history, as reported by Fox News, “extreme” is a very accurate description for her. Facts have proved that Abdullah strongly insisted that the police killer should be released:

She is also a big fan of the avid anti-Semitist Louis Farrakhan, and at the 2015 “Justice Or Else” rally, she felt “humble” and “overwhelmed”.
As you can imagine, Abdullah is also very keen to abolish the police and is very outspoken about her position.

People have to wonder why such a person would want to support Newsom, and what kind of policies Newsom has in mind that would make people like Abdullah want to support him. I don’t know if Newsom knows that Abdullah will speak at the event, but it is likely that he will not manage such extreme people first.

If Newsom stood aside when someone like Abdullah spoke on his behalf, then Californians would have all the more reason to take this recall seriously.
