Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) not only defended Joe Biden’s disastrous actions in Afghanistan, but she also seemed to imitate him incoherently.

“I think the president made the right decision to leave Afghanistan, and I think we should have left long ago,” Pelosi said. Then her brain got out of control. “In the beginning, we should stay longer to finish the work. We only defeated the Taliban, not defeated them. Then we left and went…to Iran.” Someone must help me translate that because I don’t know what she is saying here. Because we did not go to “Iran”. I guess she was referring to Iraq, but we didn’t leave Afghanistan until the end of last month, so we didn’t “leave” to go anywhere before that. She seems to want to win the incoherent crown from Biden.
Pelosi declared: “I do think that the historical evacuation of 120,000 people is very remarkable, and I praise the government for that.” “It has never been easy. It is not always complete. From the beginning, um, but It’s amazing, even if it starts, uh, ah, dimly beginning.”
“The hazy beginning?” Is this what you call the body? Fell off the wheels of our plane? Yes, “hazy” is just one word.
The evacuation was “remarkable” because it gave up the sturdy Bagram Air Force Base and withdrew the troops before they left to help every American and every Afghan ally we need to leave. They were unsuccessful in evacuating the people they were supposed to evacuate—the Americans and the vetted SIV who helped the United States.Instead, they left the Americans and At least one estimate is that there are about 80,000 SIVs.
This may be the worst foreign policy/military error in recent memory. It hurt us and our allies and left a terrorist country behind us.
“Now we move on,” Pelosi concluded. This is her bottom line. It’s time to turn the page, we end here. Nothing was said about the stranded Americans. Or any information about what she is doing to help solve this situation or even push Biden to solve the problem.
Many other members of Congress have been trying to help. Even Rep. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), someone I never thought I would actively talk about, has been trying to help Americans trapped in Afghanistan, and has delayed the attempt to Biden’s State Department The flight leaving Mazari was furious-Sharif.

Blumenthal-serving as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and having several sons who served in the military-said he was “deeply frustrated” by the “delay and inaction” of the U.S. government’s people who remained in Afghanistan after rescuing Biden. Anger is a fatal withdrawal.
Blumenthal didn’t think it was so “extraordinary”. He was not talking about “forwarding” like Pelosi, but about letting people go.
This is the surprising flaw in what is happening with Biden and Pelosi. They have moved on and don’t care at all, they want to persuade everyone to move on too.
