On Friday, before her coffin was taken to a nearby cemetery for burial, a funeral prayer was held for her at the East London Mosque in Whitechapel, East London.
In a statement, her family said: “Today is a sad day for all of us. Our loss is immeasurable because we realize that we will never see our beloved Sabina again. .
We need our country to stand with us and stop violence against women
“The thoughts about her love, warmth and tenderness have always been with us, and this is how we will remember Sabina.
“Although we know that we will leave a huge void in our hearts, we are very happy to receive support from all over the country. We will continue to fight for justice for Sabina.
“Our community needs to make women safer. This kind of thing will never happen again.
“We need everyone, including the government, to work with us to solve this problem. Action speaks louder than words, and we need to see positive measures for women’s safety.”
In the statement, the family thanked everyone for their support and kindness, and added: “When we say goodbye to our dearest friends, sisters and daughters, we want to commemorate her by reminding everyone that we are each other’s guardians; we are what we hope in our Communities, the changes we see in our world.
“Our lives have changed and will never be the same. The pain we endure every day will continue to remind us of losses and urgently needed changes.
“No family should experience this. We need our leaders to come forward, and we need our communities to come forward. We need our country to stand with us and stop violence against women.
“We also hope that everyone will remember Sabina. She is a happy, joyful and dedicated person. She loves teaching and contributes to her beloved community.”

Garage worker Koch Serrama The 36th from Eastbourne was charged with the murder of Ms. Nessa and will appear in court on December 16 for a guilty plea hearing.
