Spirituality can be thought of as something that gives meaning and vitality to life. When people connect with their spirituality, they feel concentrated, calm and full of energy. Spirituality is a powerful aspect of human experience that can help people strive to achieve health in the face of challenges and obstacles in life (including the diagnosis of chronic diseases). One of my struggles is with MS.
Religious belief may or may not be the core of a person’s spirituality. Religion does not need four walls and a roof. For some people, religion or their spiritual organization principles, while for others, spirituality is reflected in their connection with nature, other people, art forms, or anything else that gives them special meaning in their lives.
Many times in life, people realize that they are on a spiritual journey, most often when facing major changes or crises. Each crisis brings concerns about future uncertainties, but it also brings growth opportunities, including:
- Become more self-aware
- Discover inherent strengths and resources
- Find meaning in the challenge
- Discover greater balance, harmony and purpose
- Transform the feeling of powerlessness into the feeling of creating power
- Look for opportunities for personal growth and resilience.
Deepen and more meaningful relationships with others.

Grief is a natural response to loss.Whether it’s losing someone you love, diagnosing a chronic disease, or changing yourself Functional capacity, or any other interruption in the path of life, healthy focus on grief is the first step towards healing. The grieving process lays the foundation for goal setting, creative problem solving, and personal growth. Find out what makes you physically and mentally exhausted, and what makes your life and soul regenerate and sustain. It takes energy to deal with changes and challenges. Given that fatigue is one of the most common and challenging symptoms of chronic diseases, it is helpful to determine your living conditions and the things that stimulate, fuel, and replenish you in your life.
Arrange your priorities
When energy is limited and challenges in life seem to cause endless obstacles, it helps to focus on the way you spend your energy-both physical with emotional time. Focusing your energy on the things that are most important to you and most in line with your goals and personal values is part of sticking to your spiritual path. Following your own path will help you connect with your true self!
Connect with your true self
Part of the spiritual journey is to connect with oneself; internally and externally, especially acknowledging and trusting one’s own motives, emotions and ideas, acknowledging one’s own strengths and weaknesses, acting in a way that reflects personal values and needs, and allowing genuine relationships with others Intimate self.
Integrating spirituality into your daily life often feels too stressful to have time for internal reflection, awareness (our own and others’) feelings, and personal growth.
Find ways to spend time and space to explore, cultivate and replenish your inner self, focus on opportunities for change and growth, and be open to new ideas, feelings, and ways to interact with the world.
It is not easy to accept chronic diseases and try to endure the symptoms, the reactions of others, and the fear of what is about to happen. In my life, I believe in God and know that he loves me and send his angels to love and protect me. I connect with the mature outdoors through meditation, and take the time to calm down and give me the greatest comfort! I hope you can find you!
