The political tsunami that swept the Republicans where they ruled did not expect As RedState reported, this was one of the headlines last week. But even among the Democrats who won in New York City, there was a surprise because Nick Arama included Her summary The list of national winners from last Tuesday’s election:
But this is not all. In New York City, which is dark blue—it’s hard to become bluer—the world has also changed dramatically. The city will now have a more moderate Democratic Party and former law and order police officer Eric Adams as mayor to replace the fanatical left-wing Bill de Blasio.
In fact, he and De Blasio are definitely different in some striking aspects. On Friday, Brooklyn District Mayor Adams took his Progressive Democrat colleagues to the party. Devastating loss elsewhere. He is not stingy about the problem.
“In our country there is an institution that doesn’t want to talk. This country has an anarchist group that many of us ignore,” he said. “They threw Molotov cocktails at the police car. They tried to destroy our way of life.”
He added that Democrats need to “knock them out of those who really care about and have a real dialogue with them.”
“If I want to give Democrats a message: get back to the ground,” he said.
He specifically named two Democratic politicians and shared this information with them.
Adams said he had conversations with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris about the results of the election on Tuesday night, and said that in his conversations with them, he was clear that the Democratic Party “better participate in the field.”
“I just believe that we are not grasping the pulse of the daily Democrats, even in the purple areas-those who are trying to make a decision,” he said. “The Democratic Party does not want to disband the police department. They want the police to do their job.”
Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union Address” on Sunday, Adams continued to pile up, telling co-host Dana Bash:
“…[W]e Continue to provide dysfunctional products every year instead of educating our children; In New York City, 65% of black and brown children have low reading ability… Public safety is indeed a real problem, not only action, but also Have ideas. “
New York City Mayor Eric Adams: “65% of black and brown children do not read [proficiently] In New York City. We have mice running, […] If you don’t pick up rubbish, public safety is really a big problem. […] We need to go back to basics. ” pic.twitter.com/fJ7tNfgsd6

But don’t get me wrong. Adams is still a progressive, and he believes that “government” is the answer to most questions; for example, his answer to Bash on New York’s COVID vaccination situation initially sounded like any other Democrat. He does not intend to cancel the tasks set by his predecessor.
But you must admit that it is refreshing to hear from the leader of a major Democratic city: (emphasis mine)
“We have done an amazing job. More than 80% of New Yorkers are enforced. The same is true for many of our municipal employees. But when you look at the gaps in the numbers that are not at the end, there are some legitimate questions.
For example, I talked to a young lady, She has religious immunity For all of us [sic] children. They are all in their 20s and have never been vaccinated in school. so, Why did we suddenly tell her that we no longer respect it?
So if There are real health care issues, real religious exemptions…
Read it again, because I have to read it. A progressive person who respects religious freedom, calls Antifa a violent thug, and does not want to tear our police department apart? Adams and any other Democrats who speak this way are the conservatives who need to watch closely in the future.
