As our Jennifer O’Connell reported earlier today, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D-French Laundry) has not appeared in public since the day he received his COVID-19 vaccine booster on October 27. Newsom was scheduled to fly to Glasgow two days later to attend the COP26 climate change conference, but his trip was suddenly cancelled. At first it was speculated that perhaps he realized how stupid it was to fly across the globe to speak at a climate change conference when he could simply attend a virtual conference. Then, Newsom’s office claimed that he was dealing with “unspecified family issues”, and when asked by the media, his office would not elaborate. By Sunday night, his wife posted a tweet humiliating those who asked where the chief executive of the state was, calling them “haters” and telling them to “live a good life.”
On Monday, the California COP26 delegation declined to answer questions about how Newsom participated virtually or where he was. Late on Monday, Governor Eleni Kounalakis claimed that Newsom could not go to Scotland because he had young children.

Kunarakis, who flew to Glasgow instead of Newsom, said:
“It’s a pity that he didn’t get through… You know, the Governor has a young family. I think everyone understands that when you have young children, it is sometimes difficult to reach the other side of the earth… This is true. Is very important…”
You know, no matter how old his children are, he has work to do.Having young children didn’t stop him Travel to El Salvador in April 2019 Attacked Donald Trump’s immigration policy and “study immigration.”
Well, it seems that having a young family did not prevent him from participating in other activities.Buried quietly Vogue story about Ivy Getty’s weekend “dream” wedding, Hosted by Nancy Pelosi, is this paragraph:
“The San Francisco City Hall is designed to inspire people’s awe-it is a symbol of the city’s strength and resilience after the devastating earthquake and fire in 1906, with white marble details and a dome that rises more than 300 feet above the head. “Hamish [Bowles, Vogue contributing editor] notes. “However, despite the grandeur of the building-Nancy Pelosi presided over the ceremony, and Governor Newsom and Mayor Breed attended, but Tobias’ charming vows and passionate kisses let the Ivy crown fall off, and the ceremony was still giving. A very intimate and personal feeling!”
Given The prevailing social media rumor is that Newsom may be in the hospital due to a vaccine-related injury, This is quite a statement.

Obviously this does not explain where Newsom has been every other day since October 27, but if he looks healthy and attends a “family” wedding this weekend, why doesn’t he admit it?
It may even be more than a French laundry dinner—— Happened a year before this wedding -This gorgeous wedding in San Francisco, where hundreds of unmasked guests practiced absolutely zero social distancing-highlights Newsom’s hypocrisy and complete disconnection from the pain that most people in California are enduring.
Ivy Getty’s wedding was a weekend event with multiple themed parties. At the first party, the bride wore no less than three outfits:
The wedding kicked off with the British Invasion Mod Party held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on Thursday night. The inspiration for Stanley’s first celebration night was Barberella, A science fiction film directed by Jean-Claude Forest in 1968. It took Stanlee’s team 7 days to reimagine the interior, which usually feels like an airline hanger, into a full-fledged nightclub with shiny silver walls. “I knew the wall was silver the day before, and I didn’t know anything about it,” Getty admitted. “I didn’t tell them anything specific. Everything was completely unexpected.”
The guests were dressed in sexy sequined short skirts, gogo boots and mostly curly hair. They were ready to party as soon as their vaccination cards arrived, and their phones were locked and stored in pouches. The dancers performed with transparent plastic bubbles, and Mark Ronson was doing DJ. In the end, the earth’s wind and fire came to the stage.
On Friday, the wedding guests enjoyed a picnic lunch-IV drip for hangovers:
The next day, the guests and the couple enjoyed a picnic lunch at Presidio’s Log Cabin, overlooking the city-IV fluids were prepared for anyone who needed help recovering from the night before. “Butterfly is very emotional to Ivy, so we include them as much as possible,” Goldberg said of the bride’s expectations for this daytime event. “This archived Alexander McQueen dress from the early autumn of 2016 is full of her name…”
Friday night is a rehearsal dinner, an “intimate” event, which is likely to be more expensive than that French laundry dinner, and then a “pajama party” will be held for the bride and her entourage on Saturday.
The ceremony itself is held in San Francisco City Hall, but it is not an ordinary City Hall wedding:
Stanley and his team covered the entire rotunda of the City Hall with bright blue-green and pink Persian carpets, completely changing the space. “We hung turquoise and rose pink velvet curtains with 12-inch-long gold thread tassels on all the arches on the second and first floors,” he explained. “We hang on the railing of the grand staircase in a waterfall-like fashion, from top to bottom, thousands of pale pink dendrobium orchids. The large stone urn filled with pastel roses on the pedestal passes through the rotunda and the top of the staircase. . I want to guide Ann,” Gatti said. “The colors, patterns and fabrics are a tribute to Ann.”
After announcing the marriage, Ivy’s crown fell off instantly. Once corrected:
Queue Myra, a singer known for her hit songs Princess Diaries——She started playing “Miracle Happened” on the balcony, and the bridal party led by actress Anya Taylor-Joy started dancing. This is a surreal moment, likely to happen in Genovia.
Afterwards, the group went to the Getty Building to attend a reception.
A Latin band and Pena Pachamama dancers occupies a room, bars and buffets are everywhere, and a rose garden is set up for the DJ dance party. The bride wore Maison Margiela’s second set of haute couture, with a draped aquamarine collar, which perfectly matched the raw neckline of the dress and was suitable for receptions.
…
When guests mingled from room to room to taste various buffets, there were moments… it felt like a typical family wedding held at home, with weird cousins and so on. But then people think of the scene and its meaning: Over the years, Ann and Gordon Getty has accumulated a museum-level collection of European antiques, Venetian paintings, French textiles, and Russian chandeliers. The room is filled with gold-framed impressionist paintings by artists such as Matisse, Degas, and Cassatt, and decorative pillows made of Lyon silk and embroidered brocade are scattered on the deep sofa.
Newsom planned to fly to Glasgow to advocate for the cessation of fossil fuels, but in the end enjoyed all possible luxuries-thanks to the money from Big Petroleum.
