The United States and its Constitution are based on the belief that when members of the two parties in our democracy merge their ideologies and work together, the country will prosper. Since the founding fathers drafted the constitution and established our democracy, the two-party system has been striving to satisfy the ideals of mixed ideology and putting the best interests of the country above the pursuit of power. Starting from the drug-spraying tea party and then evolving into a violent liberal caucus and Trumpism, American politics now looks and sounds like an authoritarian banana republic or mob family.
The pattern of calling for violence and aggressive speech has only one inevitable result; people will die in the process. In 2019, the Guardian reported 52 violent acts by Trump supporters between 2015 and 2019.
- During violent acts or threats, or in situations related to violent acts or threats, explicitly declare support for Donald Trump, or use his slogans.
- In subsequent explanations of violent acts or threats, Trump or his remarks were quoted.
- Acting or threatening to use violence against Trump opponents during political activities or when wearing Trump brand clothing to show their support for the President.
- Publicly declare allegiance to Trump before committing or threatening to use violence against members of political or ethnic groups condemned by Trump
Trump is an instigator of violence against immigrants, nations and communities of color, peaceful demonstrators of racial justice, political opponents, and women he considers “annoying.” In the year that Twitter and Facebook allowed him to make violent remarks, there were countless incidents of his irrational supporters making personal threats to people. His anti-COVID remarks resulted in Dr. Anthony Fauci receiving death threats. His misogynistic attack on Nancy Pelosi was offensive against her, leading to the rioters looking for her in the Capitol on January 6 to hurt her. He lied to the rioters that Mike Pence could stop Joe Biden’s The election certification made them cry and “hanged Mike Pence” during the uprising. His “Stop Stealing” campaign resulted in the death of 5 people as a result of the uprising. His anti-mask remarks have contributed to the spread of COVID and violence against maskers and officials supporting vaccine authorization. Trump is an angry man who supports violence because it satisfies his arrogance or political ambitions.
Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy are complicit in how American Republicans continue, support, and sadly seek and enjoy violence. They are castrated cowards. If faced with the kind of threats that AOC, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and Dr. Fauci endured, they would hide in bunker or behind their wife’s skirt. If they see that their legacy is completely dependent on the bragging former president who is seen on the world stage as the clowns chosen by Russia through propaganda and election intervention, then their self-esteem must be pathological. Trump will not have a positive ending, without car rats or cult leaders. However, if Attorney General Merrick Garland does not actively prosecute corrupt current and former government members, he will need to step down or be fired. Encouraged by Republican voters and Congressional Republicans, the United States has had enough violence, enough deaths, and enough cruelty. If the aggressive and gun-bearing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green and the accused sex trafficker Matt Gates are the leaders of the Republican Party, the United States will remain violent instead of being civilized, prosperous and admirable.
