Fyodor Dostoyevsky is an indigestible classic, ubiquitous as an idol, musical and drama writer on the 200th anniversary of Russia.
A sort ofOn his 200th birthday, Dostoyevsky was still alive in his hometown of Moscow: a challenge as a writer, as a playwright as a cult director like Konstantin Bogmoro, and as a young man. . A few days ago, the living Russian classic Vladimir Sorokin explained to the emerging writer of the Moscow Business School why he could not get rid of Dostoevsky. The novelist describes a passion different from other Russians, so Sorokin is also indifferent to style issues. However, Dostoevsky’s amazing insight into the human abyss gave him secret claws, repeatedly scratching and hurting his heart, Sorokin admitted. This is why the author, who was originally a visual artist, has created a series of forty portraits of Dostoevsky in recent years. For example, the painting entitled “Marfuscha (No. 8)” shows this great naked man himself, naked, and an unknown white girl hugging him.
