Macy’s Has announced its full lineup Thanksgiving Day The parade will take to the streets of New York City at 9 am on November 25th, bringing back the 95-year tradition.
“To celebrate our 95th anniversary celebration, Macy’s created an unforgettable spectacle, showcasing a dazzling array of high-flying balloons, animated floats and incredible performers. We can’t wait to help New York City Begin the return of this precious tradition with the whole country,” said Wilcos, executive producer of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in a statement.

This year’s Macy’s parade will have a series of entertainment activities, including performers Carrie Underwood, Kristin Chenoweth, Jordan Fisher, Foreigner, Nelly, Kelly Rowland and Rob Thomas.
Other people who appeared include aespa, Jimmy Allen, Jon Baptiste, “Blue’s Clues & You!” host Josh de la Cruz and former host of “Blue Clues” Steve Burt Enns and Donovan Button, Darren Chris, Girls5eva, Andy Grammer, Mickey Gayton, Chris Lane, Miss USA 2020 Camille Schreer, “Sesame Street” Actors and puppets Kim Petras, Tai Verdes, Zoe Wees and Tauren Wells.
Santa Claus will also appear.
Balloon character
The new giant balloon character will appear in a total of 15 characters in the 2021 parade, filling the sky.
This year’s new works are Netflix’s “Ada Twist”, “Scientist”, Funko Pop! inspired “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian” Grogu, McDonald’s Ronald McDonald and Pokémon’s Pikachu & Eevee.
The giant balloons returned include astronaut Snoopy, “Boss Baby”, “Little Kid’s Diary”, Baby Dinosaur, Guku, Chase in “Paw Patrol”, Pillsbury Dough Boy, Red Titan, Blue Papa , Sonic the Hedgehog and SpongeBob SquarePants & Gary.
The giant balloon will be available for public viewing in the Upper West District from 12 noon to 6 pm on November 24. Available at 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue.

Viewing is only open to vaccinated people, and the ability will be limited for social distancing.
The vaccination certificate needs to be provided in the form of a CDC vaccination card, mobile vaccination app (NYC COVID Safe App, CLEAR Health Pass, NY State Excelsior Pass) or a photo of the vaccination card. A photo ID is also required.
Children under 12 years of age who are not eligible for vaccinations can be accompanied by vaccinated adults.
You need to wear a mask at all times.

A total of 28 floats will participate in the Macy’s parade, including Birds of a Fether Stream Together from Peacock, Celebration Gator from the Louisiana Department of Tourism, Colossal Wave of Wonder from Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, Gravy Pirates from Heinz, and Magic on Disneyland The cruise ship meets the sea and reaches the North Pole on tiptoes.
Several hits will return in 2021, including 1-2-3 Sesame Street by Sesame Studio, Big Turkey Spectacular by Jennie-O and “Blue’s Clues & You!” via Nickelodeon International Children’s Channel.
Geoffrey of Toys “R” Us will also be unveiled this year.
Marching band, singers and dancers
Many marching bands will appear to entertain the crowd, as well as performing dance groups and talented singers from all over the country. Macy’s said that 10 marching bands and 9 performance groups were booked for this event.
Parade route
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade route runs from 77th Street and Central Park West along a 2.5-mile route to Columbus Circle, turns into Central Park South, and then follows Sixth Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. On 34th Street, the parade will turn west and end on 7th Avenue in front of Macy’s Herald Square.
