On November 8, a special program called “New Horizons” was held at the GIX Center in Bellevue to emphasize the partnership between the United States and India.
Speakers include Congressman Adam Smith, Consul General of India, TV Ambassador Nagendra Prasad, writer Vasudha Sharma, Miss World 2021 Shree Saini, Sens. Mankra Dhingra and Mona Das, and Diane Adachi. Nearly 40 people participated.
The event was organized by the WASITRAC Washington State and India Trade Relations Action Committee and Debadutta Dash.
Saini won the award for successfully overcoming life-threatening heart failure, and Priya Komarlingam, CEO of the healthcare startup CueMed, won the award for innovative products and services to prevent heart failure.
