Agence France-Presse reported that Diallo was restrained by an assailant in the attack, but was not physically injured. Hamravi and Diallo are teammates of the French national team and good friends on vacation together.

Diallo has played seven times and joined Paris Saint-Germain from rival French club Guingamp in 2016.
