Many children were injured after the ceiling of the Dulwich Rosemead Preparatory School collapsed on Monday morning.
The London Fire Brigade says about 20 Firemen Called School After the ceiling collapsed on the second floor of Thurlow Park Road at 9:22 in the morning.
A spokesperson said: “Some people were treated for minor injuries at the scene, and some children were taken to hospital by London paramedics.”
LFB stated that the accident ended at 11:50 am.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 9.24am on November 15 and reported an incident at SE21 Rosemead Preparatory School.
“We have dispatched many resources to the scene, including ambulance personnel, medical personnel on board, senior paramedics, incident response personnel, emergency plan recovery personnel, our hazardous area response team and command support vehicles.
“Our staff treated some patients on the spot, and work has now stopped.”
