Ma Zong Going Dongxin The launch of its latest British free grocery store, marking its latest expansion in British physical stores.
These stores “just go shopping”, allowing shoppers to enter using the Amazon app, put down their phones, pick up what they need and walk away. Soon after people received email receipts and charged them from their Amazon accounts.
Available products will include products from online retailers’ own food brand “by Amazon”.
The company provided an update and said that the “by Amazon” Christmas series will be sold on its London Amazon Fresh website.
Commodities include meat pies, chocolate yule logs and pigs in blankets.
Amazon opened its first free storage grocery store in the UK in March, and it is reported that the company led by Andy Jassy is considering opening a series of new stores here.
Its cashier-free experience is achieved through technology that detects when products are removed from the shelf or returned to the shelf, and track them in a virtual basket.
