article – Since March 2020 I have basically been working from home, so I need a manageable amount of daily carry. On the rare occasion I have to go to the office, I’ll bring my 13-inch MacBook Pro and a small leather bag. Most of the time, this is my minimum carry.

Usually I keep everything except my watch and phone in the same pocket on the front left.

  1. Baronfig Squire Ballpoint Pen – Easy to put in your pocket, this perfectly balanced pen is great for writing, better than using a public pen at the pickup window. ($59, baronfig.com)
  2. iPhone 12 Pro – Currently rocking the zero case to let the beautiful engineering shine. ($730 unlocked, Amazon.com)
  3. Olight Beagle Folding Knife – A generation Reviewed in 2021 It’s still one of my favorite knives. I carry it almost everywhere.

  9. Hamilton Khaki Mechanical Field Watch – I almost always wear a watch and just happened to have this one today. Hamilton Khaki is my latest addition to my collection and you can’t get more EDC than that. In its classic military heritage, this hand-wound watch features an 80-hour reserve, bright luminescence, an easy-to-read dial and 5 bar water resistance. I chose the stainless steel bracelet because I have a lot of straps that fit 20mm lugs and I really like the look of the bracelet. ($416 with leather NATO strap, Amazon.com)

I have a few extra items in my pocket to throw when I venture out.

  • My Keys with Thread Wallets Wrist Lanyard ($11, Amazon) and Apple AirTag with custom printed initials ($29, Amazon)
  • And a mask I got for signing up for the 2021 Adobe MAX virtual event
